Mental Health Diligence for Transaction Support

-A boutique investment group is looking to acquire a counseling center in New Jersey with approximately 30 therapists and are looking to bring in a SME on the mental health space (or a similar healthcare space) to help them lead their diligence efforts (term sheet was just signed)
-The consultant will help guide the credentialing process and make sure they can transfer the insurance contracts over to the new entity that will be created to acquire ownership in the clinic. The consultant will also help diligence preexisting relationships with insurance providers and will take a deep look at existing contracts.
-This is the first acquisition of what will eventually turn into a platform for growth, tuck-in acquisitions, and other M&A activity.
-If the consultant can also help perform financial & accounting diligence, that is an added benefit, but not a hard requirement.
-If the acquisition closes and the engagement works out well, this has potential to stem into an advisory type long term relationship.
