Candidate will perform end-market channel checks for an industry or a particular investment End market includes mainly industrials: utilities, renewables, capital goods, infrastructure, telco, some tech. Need candidate to gather information on trends in sales growth, pricing, buyer/seller commentary, and competitive dynamics. Candidate can be creative in information gathering including reading call transcripts, conducting internet searches, searching social media, and holding discussions with contacts. Interested more in qualitative analysis than quantitative work: need 'the story' behind an industry.
