Operations - Process Design / Re-engineering
-A leading private equity firm is looking for a consultant to conduct an inventory process review help with a B2C brand (both E-Commerce and Brick & Mortar).
-The consultant will lead an inventory process review, documenting each step, person responsible, time, system interfaced, etc. and then conduct a gap analysis to understand where the process could be improved.
-The consultant must have previous retail or warehouse inventory management experience.
-The company is concerned that the physical inventory levels in stores are lower than what the system(s) show, leading to empty shelves, and lost sales. The company does periodic cycle counts and has broken items into A.B.C codes. Cycle counts for A items can have a variance as high as 15% in certain instances.

-At the conclusion of this inventory process review, the PE firm will do a technology assessment to ensure that the systems are configured to support the current, or revised, process and measure. They have people for the technology side, but are looking for someone process oriented to lead the operational side of the project. The business has a relatively simple technology footprint: NetSuite: GL, KWI: POS, Shopify: E-commerce.

**Engagement will be a combination of remote and on-site. On-site location is TBD, but all travel and expenses will be covered by the client.
