As a start up company, we are seeking an interim CFO to perform the basic function of that title. In particular this CFO is expected to work in the following areas:
1. Planning
assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives;
develop financial and tax strategies;
manage the capital request and budgeting processes
2. Operations
participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team;
manage the accounting department;
oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations;
3. Financial information
report financial results to the board of directors
4. Funding
monitor cash balances and cash forecasts
5. Third parties
participate in conferences with potential partners and investors.
