Healthcare Staffing Efficiency Consultant

A healthcare portfolio company of a middle-market private equity firm is seeking a consultant/contractor to help improve the Company’s staffing efficiency. The Company manages hospital sleep labs on an outsourced basis, and has ~130 full-time sleep technicians that must be staffed efficiently each night across 65 hospital locations.

The consultant will be expected at the outset to assist in diagnosing the key areas of opportunity for improved efficiency by synthesizing the various pieces of information available (patient scheduling process and tools, tech scheduling process and tools, regional labor pools, geographic site density, study volume trends, etc.). Depending on the diagnosis, the consultant would then have the opportunity to support the ultimate implementation of the proposed operational improvements.

Direct experience in healthcare staffing required, with past work for private equity portfolio companies desirable.
