Forecast Review

1. Go cell-by-cell checking both numbers and formulas (remember, the entire workbook stems from Costs and Revenues).
2. Double-check for standardized formatting and convention.
3. This is a fundraising document--and remember that investors like not only profitable ideas, but founders with attention to detail.
4. Label and explain anything that would not make sense to someone encountering for the first time. For example, the percentage on the NPV needs a label and explanation, as do a few numbers on the Cost sheet. Keep an eye out for unexplained cells and explain.
5. Again, the most important aspect of this project is the cell-check. There are many, many cells and it will take a real focus to go through them all, making sure they reference properly and everything adds up.
