Finance & Accounting - Financial Due Diligence
Our client is a private equity firm considering investing in a non-US provider of food and specialty houseware products. The private equity firm is non-US based, and therefore needs "feet on the street" in the US market. Their potential investment target currently sells into a large, national US grocery food retailer (e.g., Trader Joes-like) and wants to penetrate other US retailers and expand products sold beyond the private label.

Our client needs to confirm key assumptions, investment parameters and identify risks, opportunities, and key success factors as an input to topline revenue projections and investment decision-making. In other words, should they invest in this opportunity? As a firm, we are equipped to handle the marketing analysis, though need a "spare hire" to perform commercial due diligence and financial analysis, etc.

We might be able to allocate additional funds to purchase available market studies, in support of the financial analysis.
