Cyber-Security Consultant to Support State Government of Connecticut

Our firm is a boutique consulting firm that is working with the State Government of Connecticut on a large Information Technology Department (ITD) project.

We are looking for an experienced Cyber-Security consultant to help us with the following:

- Work alongside ITD managers, cybersecurity analysts, and operating units to ensure assessments are carried out efficiently
- Assist with developing remediation strategies & long-term recommendations
- Communicate orally and in writing various levels of knowledge regarding cybersecurity
- Assist the ITD in the formulation of tactical and strategic plans, which could include staffing & procurement

Skill Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, including risk analysis, auditing, forensics, routing monitoring programs, and policy development
- 5 years of cybersecurity experience for a Government agency
- Expertise in Next-Generation Firewalls
- Expertise in Security Information & Event Management Solutions (Splunk)
