I'm looking to model the financial impact of no-shows and tardiness on medical clinics. Doctors and schedulers often overbook clinics to account for no-shows, but with unpredictable results. For example, two patients scheduled for a single time slot could both show up, causing the clinic to fall behind in it's schedule, thereby resulting in longer wait times for patients and requiring at least some of the staff to be paid overtime (in addition to the costs related to keeping the clinic open).

I'd like to create a model that can take into account all of these factors to determine the financial implications of this dynamic. Importantly, the model should be flexible enough to allow one change the no-show rate, staff salaries, number of patients in a day, and several other factors, in order to provide a high level of detail in the analysis.
