Neo Poker Lab was established when several visionary scientists of different disciplines came together to develop AI for the play of poker. The first real breakthrough happened with Limit Texas Hold’em, the least complicated of poker games from a math perspective. With this success Neo Lab was launched and several talented software developers were added to the team so that we were ready to start working on the much more complicated task – No Limit Texas Hold’em.

The company was very successfully until the US passed UIGEA and we lost 85% of our business overnight. After that we reorganized and began to focused on the Non-US markets and brought the company back to glory with 'One Sick Promo' in 2007. It was a $1.25 million promotion that put Sun on the European map.
