Developed and executed overall sourcing and vendor management strategy for management of ~$500M in Direct materials (Ingredients & Packaging) across 26 production locations, and $2.5B in Indirect spend categories across multiple functional areas.

Build and execute hedging strategies for market-traded commodities, as well as sourcing value-add manufacturing of mulitple ingredient categories, with annual spend of over $250MM, spanning multiple North America and Latin America production locations. Perform commodity market research in order to provide recommendations to executive management. Lead strategic sourcing projects, supplier negotiations, and support innovation and new product development.

North America Stamping Commodity Leader, managing $130MM annual spend across six North American production facilities. Prepare detailed annual budgets. Lead negotiations and sourcing strategies, work cross-functionally with Sales and Product Development to provide competitive sourcing of raw materials required to win new business opportunities.

Lead all Advanced Purchasing activities to support new product launches, involving supplier selection, coordination with current commodity strategy, procurement of prototypes, validation of supplier quality and production processes, material and logistics planning, and successful contract negotiation that ensured year-over-year productivity improvements.
