At the time, Zayo was a start-up telecom focusing on acquiring and integrating unprofitable companies into their platform. As CFO, I was responsible for de-integrating a portion of the acquired company to integrate the product, systems and processes into Zayo. Decreased accounting close cycle by 60%, implemented cost controls, metrics, analysis and insightful financial reporting, to realize cash flow break even 6 months earlier than plan. Continued on contract basis after leaving F/T role.
