Led the program to integrate the wing assembly facility for the Global 7500 business jet. Program included managing ~150 resources including employees, contractors and SI’s. Provided consulting services to establish global PMO and operating model. The IT organization was in the midst of outsourcing the ‘run’ side to IBM in Canada. This required a new way of program management and a new operational mode for the IT organization. I led the program to establish the new operating model. Provided management consulting services to restructure this insurance broker that is focused on the non-profit space. Acquired a subsidiary company and turned over activities to the incoming CIO from the acquired business.

Interim CIO/CTO for this high-end, vertically integrated apparel retailer. Led the IT organization through transitioning from on-prem to cloud, resetting core systems such as planning, merchandizing and POS. Established the 5 year strategic IT plan and managed a global team of ~150. I reported to the CEO with direct relationship across the executive management team. Hired the permanent CTO. lululemon is located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

CIO for this global, private brand and retail services company. Created and executed the digital strategy introducing new digital capabilities. Established key relationships with customers (Wegmans, Ahold (Stop & Shop), HEB and others in an effort to forge a working, collaborative approach to services delivery.

Interim CIO for this global financial services and home warranty company. Based out of the UK, provided management oversight, stabilized systems operations, and was a key participant in the selection of Pega Systems to replace an aging legacy system that supported finance, call center, field operations, sales, marketing and digital integration.

Interim CIO for this multi-brand retailer. Working with the COO, created the strategic 5 year plan culminating on an approach to implementing Oracle systems over a 3-year period with a budget of $150m. Hired the permanent CIO.

Interim CIO/CTO for this unique apparel footwear company whose mantra is "giving shoes to those in need for every pair sold.” Established the IT function, selected and implemented SAP Retail in the US, UK and Canada with real-time integration to ecommerce. Created the architecture review board to insure real-time interoperability with the toms.com website. Created programs with marketing to extend the ‘one for one’ approach and learned the real side and dangers of giving. Hired the perm CIO

Interim CIO/CTO for this software company that automates the upgrade of SAP custom ABAP code. Created a new operating model, trained internal resources, and led presentations to sell the product. smartShift is a German company, Indian-owned and was entering the USA at the time. I managed the cultural differences with the management team and investors.
