TVG is a consulting firm and creative agency providing project consulting services focused on social impact. Clients include the United Nations Association in Canada, Watermarks Inc., and the Canadian Centre for Social Entrepreneurship.
Garvey most recently spoke at the UN on global education upon her return from volunteering in Greece. In this capacity, she is working with groups committed to providing education for those in crisis situations.

Garvey joined Common Purpose in 2015 and oversaw the Quality and Innovations team. The team is responsible for managing the Massive Online Innovation Community (MOIC), where participants and alumni convene and incubate ideas to tackle global challenges. They created and launched Common Purpose's first Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on "Cultural Intelligence" with FutureLearn in November 2015. Her role focused on setting up the US office and business development in Asia and North America.

Garvey was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong. She was a consultant in the Securities Prime Brokerage business, responsible for human capital, real estate and operations consulting. Knowledgeable with the start up process in Asia and US.

Garvey held positions in talent acquisition and talent management within the Human Capital Management division. She was a part of the Goldman Sachs University team with coverage of Securities and Research Asia Pacific, and the Diversity & Inclusion curriculum. Garvey was also in Pine Street Executive Leadership and focused on coaching internal and external C-suite executives through different transitional stages of their careers. During 2008-09 she also ran Campus Recruiting for Asia firmwide.
