Based in Beijing, I supported Oak Investment Partner's China venture partner in the post-investment management of Oak’s China portfolio companies. Responsibilities included advising portfolio companies on sales & marketing and operational strategy, FP&A and securing subsequent capital injections. Additionally, I wrote the PPM and other marketing materials for G-O Scale Capital, a new $500M China clean-tech fund co-sponsored by Oak and GSR Ventures. Oak is an $8B venture capital firm.

CITIC Securities is a $60B leading Chinese investment bank. Based in Beijing, I developed CITICS’ global network & originated cross-border M&A deals, managed local deal teams in the creation of pitch books, company teasers, financial models, and information memorandums and participated in the execution of inbound & outbound M&A transactions. I also managed CITICS global network and relationships with strategic partners including Evercore Partners, Investec and Jennings Capital.

Based in NY and London, I managed $150M of JPMP’s $1B PE/venture capital legacy portfolio, including 60 portfolio companies and fund investments. Responsibilities included performing due diligence on follow-on investment opportunities and presenting recommendations to the Investment Committee; including analyzing company performance and projections, building financial models, and assessing business plan viability, capital structure and potential IRR of the investment.

As a Senior Associate in the Assurance & Advisory Services Group, I performed audits on financial statements; focus on investment companies and employee benefit plans. Clients included Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, TCW and the Capital Group.
