I serve as the principal in charge of our fractional CFO practice; we currently serve as the CFO for four startup or mid-size companies. In this capacity, we generally work in a two-person team; one person who is managing the financial reporting process (either external vendors or internal personnel) and one who is serving as the strategic sounding board for the executive team.

Initially, I served as the executive in charge of finance/operations and strategic planning for the company. Due to personnel changes, I ended up assuming the CEO role for the last year of the company's existence.

I was the primary executive in charge of finance/accounting and operations for this mobile tech startup in St. Louis, MO. My responsibilities also included investor relations and reporting as well as assisting the Board of Directors with capital formation.

Throughout my 10+ years with the firm, I worked primarily in Assurance Services but also had experience with consulting, tax and financial reporting. My client based was generally concentrated in private equity, where I led teams executing both audit and consulting/due diligence engagements. I also worked closely with construction, technology and manufacturing businesses.
