Responsible for key work streams for the “Structural Reform” transformation programme in response to global post-crisis banking legislation. Recommendations drove one of the UK’s most complex corporate restructurings.

Extremely broad coverage of strategic, financial and operational topics. Key elements included appraising group’s business model and business portfolio for implications of structural reform on customer proposition and financial viability.

Responsible for strategic financial planning of the group (1tn assets; £3.5bn PnL), internal/external management reporting, and technical analysis, including supporting strategy with initiatives and corporate finance activity

Responsible for external quarterly and annual reporting of the financial results of the group (1tn assets; £3.5bn PnL) to the market and stakeholders and supporting strategy with corporate finance activity

Responsible for Emerging Markets’ financial planning and management reporting and strategic development of EM business (£12bn assets; £100m PnL)
