Led automation and integration of retired 27-yr CFO’s manual transaction and reporting processes. Identified and resolved CEO and board concerns involving cash flow, accounting practices and agency performance. Prepped agency for annual audit. Assisted on-boarding of new permanent CFO.

Advised CEO on strategic initiatives, including, store management and corporate strategy. Implemented sales commission plan with targeted margin improvement in excess of $1MM. Prepared and filed all SEC reports, and NYSE compliance monitoring and update reports. Managed Proxy solicitation and voting at annual meeting, involving change of control and other shareholder initiatives.

Contractor 1st year. Managed Special Projects creating a new business process for the protection of sensitive PII and the disposition of ORE acquired through 500+ bank failures. Conceived, designed and implemented multi-departmental Oracle application tracking 6,500+ bank premises. Led policy reviews and advised senior leadership on re-engineering critical business processes. Managed portfolio of Owned Real Estate, including preservation, marketing and selling.

Key client: $200MM Oil & Gas Transport acquisition. Led Due Diligence project for Private Equity firm, resulting in material restatement and investment restructuring. Served as Acting CFO reconstructing historical financials and business processes.

Key client. EDS (Electronic Data Systems) SOX Retest Project – Managed Sarbanes-Oxley 404 retest of business groups representing 10% of EDS’ revenues, including airlines, healthcare and fulfillment.
Key client. City of Houston Joint Hurricane Housing Task Force. Led team to reorganize and operate $500MM FEMA rent payment program for 30,000+ households and 100,000+ Katrina / Rita evacuees to the Houston area. Coordinated daily operations with City, FEMA, property managers, and subcontractors.

Advised on a number of clients, including metal fabrication, household services, SaaS to the in-house legal community, IoT technology development, etc. Actively participated in business development with investment banks, law firms, accounting and other professional services providers.
