Disrupting the high costs of living and hotels in major cities by developing a shared living model. Responsible for strategy and product. Managed numerous operations as company was formed a few days before I joined.

Helped Cie Digital with the launch of LiveAt, an app that sources content from Twitter, FB and Instagram as the event happens. Managed a team of engineers and designers to get product to launch. Also provided overall strategic guidance on business and product.

We disliked the process of buying greeting cards and we found many other millenials did too, so we decided to solve that problem while still keeping the tradition of cards. We launched Card & Ink, a RedBox like kiosk service that prints greeting cards on demand designed by independent artists. Executed concept to kiosk within 6 months and brought on advisors from RedBox, Minted & Hallmark. Brought on 40+ independent card designers and tested in coffee shops and corporate centers in LA.

Lead our expansion efforts into LA. I led all day-to-day efforts as only Pritzker VC on the ground full time while the rest of the team was in Chicago. This included sourcing deals, diligence and analysis, building our network, operations, marketing (hosting and speaking at events), managing MBA interns (Kellogg, Booth, UCLA, Marshall) and supporting our investments with strategy and business development. Sat on the board of numerous technology startups.

Worked with clients across retail, CPG, Distribution, government and healthcare. Key projects include sales force strategy project for $10B technology distributor, localization project for largest department store brand, merger/integration for large beer manufacturer and cost optimization for growing healthcare manufacturer. Promoted directly to post-MBA position.
